	Buonconvento is a nice town crossed by the ancient Cassia street, along which our restaurant "I Poggioli" is located. The area called "Crete Senesi" is an important tourism resort, food and wine connoisseurship centre and cultural point. Not far away from the town you can find cultural towns, such as Montalcino, Monteoliveto, Pienza and Bagno Vignoni.... Foreigners will not have any communication problem because we are able ti speak in English, German and French. I Poggioli, which has been completely refurbished in the last few years, has a big hall and a fireplace making its interior cosy and elegant. The restaurant has an ideal structure for banquets, ceremonies and party groups (the inner hall has 80 seats, the outside garden up to 150 seats). Our cuisine prepares typical specialities from Tuscany, Veneto and Friuli. Fish specialities are fresh and exceptional. Our pizzas are remarkably tasty because they are cooked in a wood-burning oven and our wine list is characterized by a wide-ranging selection of wines from Tuscany and Italy. The restaurant garden is rich in plants and flowers and will be a nice setting for your open-air dinners. The restaurant is provided with comfortable WC-amenities for the handicapped.
